When to consider heated and cooled storage units:

We suggest a heated and cooled unit for when you choose that you want to work or visit your storage unit and not be bothered by the exterior/outside temperature. Other times to consider heated and cooled units; when you are storing items for a long period of time, 6 months to a year or longer. Valuables that you are concerned may melt, i.e. candles, CD's, DVD's - plus damaging effects of heat and cold on electronics. Also consider heated and cooled units when storing antiques to prevent glue from drying out from the change of climate. Also consider heated and cooled units when storing pianos, artwork, or large book collections. When in doubt call us with your storage needs, we will give you our recommendations if heated and cooled units fit your needs.
